About me
I've been feeding my artistic hunger since 2005 - learning all that I can from anyone willing to share their craft knowledge/experience. While my passion is in developing a deeper skill in Concept Art, I love the chance to reach out and learn other artistic mediums and even hold a Bachelors in Performance Arts.
Along with Concept art I also enjoy dabbling in:
Call me

This piece is one of my newest favorites. I created it from an ink sketch. I then played with anatomical ratio in action/motion. From ink sketch to PNG to no line color with digital mediums and finally overlaying the original sketch back over the color block. I love the finish and overall look that was achieved in this newer method and look forward to furtering exploration in this method.

Lemon Head
Workshop
This name comes from moments in my formative years. No, it's not because I love lemons or even the color yellow - don't get me wrong, lemons are great as is the color... and I do actually enjoy yellow apparel! Rather, this name is from a repeating moment in my youth that, at the time, really irritated me:
My older sister and our babysitter would circle round me and sing a little one liner, "Little melon head, little melon head!" on repeat, constantly - especially when I was upset. Sometimes it was, "little 'melon' head", others, "little 'lemon' head..". They forgot their lyrics a lot!
They would then bounce banter off one another trying to decide which melon my head was most like. The top two favorites:
"Round melon, ya know like a cantaloupe" and Lemon... but... that's not even a melon!
I fought it for years before realizing this is a fantastic memory full of laughs and hilarity beyond what I recognised in the moment.
In a way, that's art too. Not always what appears at face value or first seen; most of the time it's incomplete or ongoing; full of emotion.
Sometimes it needs to grow on you. Much like this song and notion grew on me.
"Workshop" is there for exactly as it sounds - Art is an ever evolving - ever changing form Hence: art is always 'In the workshop' as it were.
The Name

My mantra

"Don't compare yourself to others.
There's no comparison between the sun and the moon. They shine when it's their time."

Just Jump
What does it feel like
just completely letting go
Jumping in the deep?
Blustry Day
Do you like the wind?
Howling ever louder on
to The Great Beyond
Many Looks
What does LOVE look like?
It can take on many forms
The Rainbow’s my fave.
A Bean
Brewed bean so fragrant
It’s not for the “energy”,
but focus that’s sought.
